Chelsea have moved to sign Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.
They have prepared £30 million for the Welsh midfielder who will be out of contract next summer and has refused to sign an extension.
Arsenal risk losing him for nothing if they refuse to sell him this summer.
New Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri identified midfield as one area of his squad that still needs a touch of quality.
The Daily Mail, UK, reports that Ramsey is the player Sarri wants.
Arsenal are still locked in talks with Ramsey’s representatives but the Gunners do not want to go into the new season with the situation still unresolved.
Arsenal would consider offers of just £30million for Ramsey should he categorically reject the contract offer currently on the table and choose to run down his contract.
Speaking about the player earlier, new Arsenal boss Unai Emery, had told British media, “Aaron is an important player for us, and the contract is one thing for the club and the player.
“For me, I want him to stay with us, to work with us, to give the team the big performance. I think he is going to stay here with us.”
